Heavy rain in Bihar; Yellow alert issued for 11 districts

Patna: Predicting heavy rainfall in Bihar, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts of the state. The IMD has advised people to stay indoors.

According to the news report published in news18.com, the IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied with thunder on June 25 and 26. The Met Department has issued an alert for rain and thunder, on June 25 and 26, in the districts of Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Saharsa, Madhepura, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka, Jamui, and Khagaria.

Apart from these 11 districts, the Met department has predicted thunderstorms without rain in Rohtas, Arwal, Nalanda, Nawada, Kaimur and Gaya.

The IMD has also issued a yellow alert for all the districts of North Bihar on June 28.
