Shimla: Himachal government has approved over 19 proposals worth Rs 1,376.93 crore including the ethanol projects during the 20th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA).
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
According to the news report published in Tribuneindia.com, the projects including setting up of ethanol manufacturing plants are expected to generate employment for over more than 2,200 persons.
The state government is taking steps in line with the central government’s plan of 20 per cent ethanol blending by 2025.
