Guwahati: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will make available 10% ethanol-blended petrol (E10) in all the seven northeastern states, reports The Times of India.
“The 10% blending of ethanol in petrol has been practised in India for the last two decades but implementation in the northeast was held up till now
due to non-availability of ethanol in sufficient amount,” said a spokesperson from IOC.
All our petrol pumps are 100% automated and the automation ensures efficiency in functioning and the use of correct quality and quantity of fuel, he further added.
