Udupi: In response to alleged irregularities surrounding the Brahmavar sugar factory scrap sale transactions, a dedicated committee has been constituted to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, reported Daiji World.
Speaking to reporters about the matter, DC Dr. K Vidyakumari mentioned, “We have established a committee to look into the issue. The committee comprises the DC, assistant secretary of Sugar, officials from commercial tax, assistant commissioner, Head of a private engineering college’s mechanical engineering department, and other members. Recognizing the necessity for a thorough investigation from various perspectives, all these officials have been enlisted in the committee. Meanwhile, a police investigation is also in progress.”
