Khetia (Madhya Pradesh): A fire caused damage to sugarcane and wheat crops worth Rs 1.5 lakh in the farm located in Khetia village of Barwani district, reports The Free Press Journal.
According to the owners of the farm, Vishal Patel and Vinod Patel, the crop was ready for harvest but the short circuit has reduced them to ashes.
Additional Tehsildar Hukum Singh Nigwal along with the revenue team rushed to the spot after receiving information and initiated an inspection of crop loss. He has ordered a probe related to the incident to find out the reason behind this.
