Moradabad: Sugarcane security committee has asked the sugar mills to clear the pending cane dues of the farmers on a priority basis.
District Sugarcane Officer Dr. Ajay Singh said that representatives of the sugar mills of Belwara, Raninangal, Bilari, Agwanpur, Sambhal and Rampur participated in the meeting called to discuss the cane dues issue.
The district cane officer asked the sugar mills to clear the pending cane dues on a priority basis. The sugar mills are at the final stage of the crushing season.
