Amroha: Taking up the issue of pending cane dues in Parliament, Member of Parliament Danish Ali said that the sugarcane farmers from the Western Uttar Pradesh region have not received their cane dues yet.
The farmers from the Amroha Lok Sabha constituency comprises sugarcane farmers in large numbers. The Simbhaoli sugar mill from the region is yet to clear pending cane dues of last year.
Addressing the Parliament, he said that the mill is not running in losses and it has its own distillery. The government should stand for the welfare of the farmers and take steps for their betterment.
