Pune: NCP backed Neelkantheshwar panel won 16 out of 21 seats in the board of directors of the Baramati based Malegaon cooperative sugar mill. The victory has given a boost to deputy chief minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar who had lost the mill’s election to Rajan Taware in 2015.
After forming government in the state with Maha Vikas Aghadi, Pawar had focussed on the mill election to regain control of it and managed to succeed in it. Ajit Pawar congratulated all elected members.
