Hyderabad, Telangana’: Former Agriculture minister in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and farmer leader Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao said there is need to encourage ethanol production to help farmers increase, reports The Hindu.
He met Telangana’s Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy at Ministers Quarters and discussed topics related to farmers.
Appreciating the government’s agriculture policies, he said that the government should encourage farmers to take up oil palm cultivation. We have to encourage ethanol production.
