Nestle plans to launch Cerelac with ‘no added sugar’ in India: Report

Nestle is facing heat for the amount of sugar in their Cerelac baby food sold in India. And now company is planning to launch the popular infant formula with “no added sugar” in the country.

As per news report published in The Times of India, Nestle’s chairman and managing director Suresh Narayanan said that the company has already been on a journey to reduce it to a bare minimum, but this will gather momentum now.

Nestle claims their Cerelac follows India’s food rules and uses much less sugar than what’s allowed. They also say it meets international standards.
