No plan for lockdown in Delhi: Manish Sisodia

New Delhi: Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi has cleared that the government won’t impose lockdown again in Delhi. Stating that lockdown is not the solution to keep a check on the spread of the Coronavirus, he said that the government is fighting the battle to stop the spread of the virus. However, Sisodia stated that the government may put some restrictions on affected areas considering the spike of the virus.

There were reports that Delhi may impose lockdown after state reported a spike in the Covid-19 cases recently. The number of patients continues to increase, suspecting another wave of the Covid-19. The state government claims that it is well prepared to tackle the spread of the virus.
