Satara: There has been a rise in coronavirus cases in India, and Maharashtra is the most affected state. Corona cases in Satara are also increasing. A 6-year-old-boy, close contact of a corona patient identified earlier, tested positive for the infection on Sunday. According to the reports, he is being treated at the sub-district hospital in Phaltan.
Satara administration is taking all steps to stop the spread of coronavirus infection. With 12,974 cases, Maharashtra has the highest number of cases in India. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday, India’s count of corona cases has reached 42,533, including 1,373 deaths. Lockdown has been extended in India till May 17.
