Pakistan: CM warns of action against sugar hoarders

Lahore, Pakistan: As the prices of sugar continue to increase in the domestic market, Pakistan’s Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that strict action will be initiated against those who are hoarding sugar. He has instructed the government officials to take action against the sugar hoarders.

He has also asked the officials to ensure that the sugar is sold in the domestic market at a fixed rate. He has warned that any delay in the availability of sugar will not be tolerated and permission will not be granted to sell sugar.

He has asked the senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan to take a review of the sugar stock in the state and submit a report to the CM office.
