Faisalabad: The sugarcane farmers from Pakistan have been advised to start the cane cultivation in the beginning of February and complete by March 15 which will give them bumper output.
They are also been advised to sow the recommended cane varieties to increase the sugar output, said an official attached with the agriculture department.
The government has recommended various varieties of cane including CP-77-400, CP-72-2086, CPF-243, HSF-240, SPF-213, COJ-84, CPP-43-33 and SPSG-26, he said.
