Karachi: The Provincial Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah approved the Sugarcane price at Rs 425/40 kg for the 2023-24 crushing season, reports Brecoder.
Manzoor Wassan, advisor to CM on agriculture informed the cabinet that he has consulted with the representatives of the Pakistan Sugar Mills Association, Sindh Zone. The Sugarcane price for the 2023-24 season may be fixed at Rs 425/40 kg, he said.
He also proposed the commencement of the season on November 15. Both the price and date were accepted by the cabinet.
