New Delhi: Pakistan government is considering to import sugar from India, according to the media reports.
The Pakistan government is taking steps to revive the relations with India by resumption of trade ties. As a part of it, the cabinet committee on economic affairs in its meeting considered the plans to import sugar from India.
Pakistan had snapped ties with India following August 2019 after India abrogated Article 370 in J&K and dividing the state into two Union Territories.
The heads of both governments have exchanged letters indicating the renewal of the peace process between both neighbouring countries.
