Pilibhit: LH Sugar Mill has issued a notice of closure during the final phase of the crushing season, reported Live Hindustan.
Farmers in the area can supply sugarcane to the mill gate within two days. The District Collector has directed the mill administration in this regard.
All farmers of LH Sugar Mill have been issued all sugarcane receipts of the main calendar and additional calendar. The sugar mill has allowed restricted open purchase at the gate. After giving the indent, the sugar mill is not getting sugarcane, due to which the sugar mill is closed for seven to eight hours daily,” said DC Khushiram. He added that if any farmer has mature sugarcane standing in the fields, they can supply sugarcane directly to the mill gate within two days. If there is any inconvenience in supplying sugarcane, they can contact the Secretaries of Cooperative Sugar Development Committees of Pilibhit, Puranpur, Beesalpur, and Majhola. They can also inform their circle’s sugarcane supervisor.
