Gurdaspur, Punjab: The residents have welcomed the state government’s decision to set up an agricultural college and increase the capacity of Batala and Paniyar Cooperative sugar mills. They expect that the move will increase Sugarcane farming in the area. The state government announced this project during its budget session on Friday.
According to the reports, Cabinet minister Sukhjinder Singh has always been on the forefront in enhancing the sugar mills capacity.
