Phagwara: Jashanjit Singh, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), has issued a directive to Golden Sandhar Sugar Mills’ management, instructing them to expeditiously settle outstanding payments owed to sugarcane growers for November, December, and January. The SDM emphasized the importance of completing these payments by February 29, reported Tribune India.
This directive was issued during a meeting convened by the SDM at his office, where key representatives from the sugar mill were present. The meeting included the participation of the mill’s General Manager, VP Verma, Project Officer (Cane) Paramjit Singh, and Munish Malhotra, Deputy Controller of Accounts & Finance.
