Sriganganagar: Sugar mill based in Kaminpura ended its crushing operations on Tuesday by completing crushing of 12.04 lakh quintal sugarcane in the on-going season. The mill achieved a recovery of 7.27 per cent.
The mill in the last crushing season achieved a recovery rate of 8.03% by crushing 10.83 lakh quintal cane. This year the mill has crushed 1.22 lakh quintal sugarcane more than the last year. The mill continued operations for 87 days without any interruption during the season.
Mill has registered the lowest sugar recovery in the current season as compared to the last five season.
