Rampur, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers who fail to submit a declaration form online will not be able to supply sugarcane to mills, reported Live Hindustan.
This policy mandates that farmers declare their landholding and sugarcane area through a prescribed format online to operate a slip (satta) for sugarcane supply. Farmers who do not submit the declaration form will not have their slips activated and will not be able to issue sugarcane slips. Consequently, such farmers will not be able to supply sugarcane to any sugar mill.
The Cane Survey Policy has been implemented, and preparations for the survey have been completed well in advance. Teams are visiting the fields to conduct the survey. Farmers are required to be present in their fields during the survey to ensure transparency in the measurement of sugarcane area.
