Reviving Ramala Sugar Mill has changed the lives of sugarcane farmers: Yogi Adityanath

In the past few years, the Uttar Pradesh government has taken several steps to revive the closed sugar mills in the state. The state government revival will help to boss the sugarcane farmers income.

Taking to the microblogging site Twitter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath raised the issue of sugar mills. In a tweet, he said, “For the last three decades, farmers were demanding the revival of the sugar mill. No government accepted their demand but our government revived it. The Ramala sugar mill is in the region belonging to former Prime Minister Chaudhari Charan Singh. With the revival of this mill, the lives of farmers from the region have changed.”

Uttar Pradesh is in the top spot in the country in terms of sugar production. In every election, political parties leave no stone unturned to woo the cane growers and sugar industry as they are known as major vote bank in the state.
