Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: A delegation of RLD has submitted a memorandum of their demands including payment of cane dues on time to the district administration, reports Live Hindustan.
As per the statement of RLD, sugarcane farmers had launched an agitation a few days ago at the district collectorate during which the officials promised that the farmers will get their dues by September 30. But the farmers have yet not received their dues.
The leaders of the organisation have demanded to ensure that the sugar mills clear pending cane dues as early as possible.
