Pasgawan-Kheri, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers in the region are happy as the DCM Shriram Group’s Ajbapur sugar mill has cleared 100 per cent of cane bills to the sugarcane farmers for the crushing season 2020-21. The mill had purchased 161 lakh quintal sugarcane during the season and paid Rs 523.62 crore to the sugarcane farmers.
Unit head Pankaj Singh said that the farmers should now use the quality cane variety for the forthcoming season and take precautions to save their crops from any disease. We have completed the survey of the cane grown in the region for the next season and appeal to farmers to fill their declaration forms online.
