Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 7, 1,023.63 points lower at 57,621.19. Nifty ended 302.35 points lower at 17,213.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 4, 143.20 points lower at 58,644.82. Nifty ended 43.90 points lower at 17,516.30.
Tata Consumer Products, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, L&T and Bajaj Finance were the top Nifty losers, while gainers included Power Grid Corp, ONGC, NTPC, Shree Cements and Tata Steel.
