Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed at 110.02 points lower at 44,149.72. Nifty ended 18.05 points low at 12,968.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 26th November at 431.64 points higher at 44,259.74. Nifty ended 128.60 points high at 12,987.00.
Britannia, Asian Paints, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp and Titan Company were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Power Grid Corp, JSW Steel, ONGC, HCL Tech and HDFC Life.
