Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 30th March at 1,128.08 points higher at 50,136.58. Nifty ended 337.80 points high at 14,845.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 26th March at 568.38 points higher at 49,008.50. Nifty ended 193.35 points high at 14,518.25.
UPL, JSW Steel, HDFC Bank, Tata Steel and HCL Technologies were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Axis Bank, M&M, Hindalco Industries, Bharti Airtel and SBI Life Insurance.
