Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 19, Sensex closed 146.59 points higher at 59,107.19, whereas Nifty ended 25.30 points up at 17,512.25.
In the previous season, on October 18, Sensex closed 549.62 points higher at 58,960.60, whereas Nifty ended 175.15 points up at 17,486.95.
HDFC, Nestle India, ITC, Reliance Industries and Axis Bank were among the top Nifty gainers. NTPC, JSW Steel, SBI, Bajaj Finserv and Coal India were the top losers.
