Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Monday. Sensex closed on August 17, 2020 at 173.44 points higher at 38,050.78. Nifty ended 68.70 points high at 11,247.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 14, 2020 at 433.15 points lower at 37,877.34. Nifty ended 122.05 points low at 11,178.40.
NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers while State Bank of India, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries were among the top laggards. Below is the chart of Sensex in today’s session.
