Benchmark indices ended lower today. On November 2, Sensex closed 215.26 points lower at 60,906.09, whereas Nifty ended 62.55 points down at 18,082.85.
In the previous season, on November 1, Sensex closed 374.76 points higher at 61,121.35, whereas Nifty ended 133.20 points up at 18,145.40.
On the sectoral front, selling was seen in the Auto, Bank, Capital Goods, Information Technology, PSU Bank, Power and Realty names
