Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 234.00 points higher at 61,963.68, whereas Nifty concluded 111.00 points up at 18,314.40.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 297.94 points higher at 61,729.68, whereas Nifty concluded 73.45 points up at 18,203.40.
Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Divis Laboratories, Apollo Hospitals and Tech Mahindra were among the biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Nestle India, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Axis Bank and Coal India.
