Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 16, 2020, at 254.57 points high at 39,982.98. Nifty ended 82.10 points high at 11,762.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 15, 2020, at 1,066.33 points low at 39,728.41. Nifty ended 290.70 points low at 11,680.35.
JSW Steel, Tata Steel, BPCL, Divis Labs and Hindalco Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, HCL Tech, M&M, Asian Paints and Reliance Industries.
