Sensex ends 355 points higher; Nifty above 11,900

Mumbai: After Electoral College vote trends showed Democratic candidate Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump fighting neck and neck, Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on November 4, 2020, at 355.01 points higher at 40,616.14. Nifty ended 95.00 points high at 11,908.50.

In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 3, 2020, at 503.55 points higher at 40,261.13. Nifty ended 144.35 points high at 11,813.50.

IndusInd Bank, Sun Pharma, RIL, Divi’s Labs and Cipla were the top gainers on the Nifty50 index while UPL, Axis Bank, HDFC, ICICI Bank and Hindalco led the losses.
