Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended today 401.04 points higher at 60,056.10, whereas Nifty settled 119.35 points high at 17,743.40.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 22.71 points higher at 59,655.06, whereas Nifty settled 0.40 points down at 17,624.05.
Wipro, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Titan and SBI were the gainers for the day whereas Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra and Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, Maruti and Sun Pharma were amongst the losers.
