Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 05th May at 424.04 points higher at 48,677.55. Nifty ended 121.35 points high at 14,617.85.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 04th May at 465.01 points lower at 48,253.51. Nifty ended 137.65 points low at 14,496.50.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, UPL, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank led the gains among Nifty50 constituents, while Addani Ports & SEZ, Bajaj Finance, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints and Hindustan Unilever were the top index losers.
