Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 15, Sensex closed 491.01 points higher at 58,410.98, whereas Nifty ended 126.10 points up at 17,311.80.
In the previous season, on October 14, Sensex closed 684.64 points higher at 57,919.97, whereas Nifty ended 189.75 points up at 17,204.10.
Among sectors, buying was seen in financials, auto and power spaces while selling was seen in metals and realty names.
