The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. On April 28, Sensex closed 701.67 points higher at 57,521.06. Nifty ended 206.65 points lower at 17,245.05.
In the previous season, on April 27, Sensex closed 537.22 points lower at 56,819.39. Nifty ended 162.40 points lower at 17,038.40.
Buying is seen in the FMCG, power, auto and capital goods names. The midcap & smallcap indices also ended in the green.
