Benchmark indices ended higher on November 15.
Sensex ended 742.06 points higher at 65,675.93, whereas Nifty concluded 231.90 points up at 19,675.45.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 325.58 points lower at 64,933.87, whereas Nifty concluded 82.00 points down at 19,443.55.
Eicher Motors, Tech Mahindra, Hindalco Industries, Tata Motors and Infosys were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Finance, Power Grid Corporation, IndusInd Bank.
