Mumbai: Sensex closed on December 2, 2019, at 8.36 points higher at 40,802.17. Similarly, Nifty ended 7.85 points down at 12,048.20.
Bharti Airtel, JSW Steel, Grasim Industries, Reliance Industries and Asian Paints were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Yes Bank, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Infratel and ONGC were among the top losers today.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 29, 2019, at 336.36 points lower at 40,793.81. Similarly, Nifty ended 95.10 points down at 12,056.05.
The rupee is trading at 71.690 against the dollar.
