Mumbai: Equity Indices ended on lower note today. On September 06, Sensex closed 48.99 points lower at 59,196.99. Nifty ended 126.35 points higher at 17,665.80.
In the previous season, on September 5, Sensex closed 36.74 points higher at 58,803.33. Nifty ended 3.35 points lower at 17,539.45.
Among the sectors, buying was seen in oil & gas, power and metal names while financials, FMCG and IT indices ended in the red.
