Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: Preparations for the new crushing season at sugar mills in Shamli have begun. Crushing season in district likely to begin from October 15, reported Amar Ujala.
As per media report, a meeting to allocate sugarcane procurement centers to the sugar mills in Lucknow has been convened under the chairmanship of the State Sugarcane Commissioner, Prabhu Narayan Singh. Over the past three days, the District Collectors, officials from sugar mills, and Deputy Cane Commissioners have been actively participating in this meeting in Lucknow.
The meeting at the Sugarcane Commissioner’s office includes a thorough review of the areas and procurement centers.
