Maharajganj: IPL sugar mill Siswa has cleared cane bills of Rs 6.66 crore to the farmers that have supplied their sugarcane to the mill till December 17, 2022, reports Live Hindustan.
Sugarcane Manager of the mill Karmveer singh said that the amount has been transferred to the bank accounts of the sugarcane farmers. The remaining amount will be transferred to their accounts in the next phase. The mill has produced 67,000 quintals of sugar by crushing 7,11,000 quintals of sugarcane so far, he said.
The mill is making available seeds of a new variety of cane for farmers free of cost and they can take benefit of it, he said.
