STAI invites sugar industry to explore on “Advances in Sugar Grading and Food Safety Standards to produce Quality Sugar”

It is important that the sugar industry selects efficient processes/equipment that enhances productivity, lowers power consumption, emissions and produces a quality product that not only meets food and safety norms but also requirements of exporters and bulk consumers. According to STAI, a power-packed seminar has been organized. With discussions, live demonstration of Grader by Rhewum India Pvt Ltd and paper presentations on topics like Food Safety Act and Indian Sugar, Basic Principles of Grading and available Technologies, Quality Control in Sugar Industry – A Need of hour, Adoption of HACCP in Sugar Mills for quality production with enhanced efficiency and many more are on the agenda.

The event is to be graced by dignitaries from National Sugar Institute, Maarc Labs Pune, Vasantdada Sugar Institute and esteemed members of STAI.
