New Delhi: Amid Coronavirus outbreak, the centre on Sunday appointed 23 new secretaries in various departments of the government. During this crisis, the department of food and public distribution is going to play a crucial role. The DFPD department also witnessed the reshuffle.
Sudhanshu Panday has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution. He is a 1987 batch IAS officer of J&K cadre. He is currently serving as an additional secretary in the commerce ministry. Panday will replace current secretary Ravi Kant.
