Sugar Business Continues To Be Under Complications

ChiniMandi: In the last decade, the number of private as well as co-operative sugar mills has increased. Whereas sugar production and cane harvesting are decreasing. This has led the whole industry to come under intense pressure, the sugar mills in India are continuously looking for an adequate supply of cane.

These issues are arising due to unexpected draughts like situations and vague prices of sugarcane. Taking all of this in hands sugar mills are now running around with demand of cane to fulfill the crushing vacancy.

According to a survey done by state Govt. the cane harvesting and sugar production have lowered down since last 10 years in Maharashtra.

For this year’s crushing season, mills have to keep working in such situations and continue demanding cane from wherever possible.
