Sugar mill starts operations after completing repair work

Kayamganj: Sugarcane farmers have breathed a sigh of relief as the sugar mill that had stopped operations due to technical glitches has started operations after completing repair work, reports Amar Ujala.

A team of technicians completed the repair work on Thursday. The mill had stopped operations due to technical glitches.

After the mill stopped operations, farmers started creating a ruckus demanding the mill administration start operations immediately. Management had urged farmers that the mill will start operations within 36 hours. Following this, the mill started operations by Thursday night.

Pramod Yadav, CCO of the mill, urged the farmers to send clean and fresh cane for crushing to avoid any problems in crushing operations.
