Shamli: The breakdown of the Upper Doab Sugar Mill has once again caused a traffic jam in the city, disrupting the daily routine of people and affecting businesses. The marketplaces were crowded due to the traffic jam, making it difficult for drivers to navigate. Farmers, who were stuck in the jam in the scorching heat, faced significant problems.
According to news report published in Live Hindustan, thursday was the last day for sugarcane crushing at the Upper Doab Sugar Mill. Along with the sugarcane, the milling work was supposed to end, but due to technical issues, traffic jams were caused by sugarcane vehicles on the city’s roads once again.
The Upper Doab Sugar Mill management has not issued any statement regarding the breakdown and the consequent traffic jam. The authorities have advised citizens to take alternate routes and use public transport to avoid the congestion until the situation is resolved.
