Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: On Sunday evening, the ongoing crushing operations at three sugar mills come to an end, reports Amar Ujala.
Officials have shared that a total of nine sugar mills in the district have crushed 12.43 crore quintals of sugarcane this season, surpassing the 11.59 crore quintals crushed in the previous season. As a result, the mills have produced 89.7 lakh quintals of sugar and 15 crore liters of ethanol.
P.N. Singh, the District Cane Officer, stated that the sugar mills ended operations after crushing the entire sugarcane crop cultivated by the farmers in the district.
