Deoband: Sugar season 2020-21 will conclude only after ensuring all the cane grown in the fields in our region is crushed, said Dinanath Mishra, vice president of the Triveni Sugar Mill.
The mill had issued notices to close operations by May 18. After learning about cane availability, the mill administration decided to continue the cane crushing operations.
Mishra urged the farmers to speed up the cane harvesting and supply it to the mill on time.
The majority of sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh have completed the cane crushing operations.
