Rudrapur, Uttarakhand: Sugarcane commissioner Hansa Dutt Pandey conducted a surprise inspection of the Cooperative sugarcane development committee Kichchha, reports Live Hindustan.
The commissioner directed the workers on duty to speed up the work related to the repair and maintenance of the sugar mill and ensure that the mill is ready for operations ahead of the crushing season.
The commissioner also directed the workers to ensure that the mill makes adequate arrangements to transport cane from fields to the mill.
